Curly Crown Salon FAQ & Policies

FAQ

Find the answers to my most frequently asked questions below! If you don't see your question, please email me at: ccrownsalon@gmail.com

How should I wear my hair to my appointment?

To give your curls the attention and care they deserve—and to help me provide the best service possible—I kindly ask you to arrive with your hair completely dry, worn down and in its natural curl pattern. This allows me to properly assess your curls and deliver the most accurate and personalized service.

Do you do wet or dry cutting?

I do both! It really depends on your unique curl pattern and what will best enhance your curls. Often, it’s even a mix of both! During your appointment, I’ll walk you through the differences and explain why one approach might work better for your specific needs.

What curl textures do you work with?

I work with all textures from wavy curls to tight, afro textures. All curl types are welcome here!

What curl training do you have?

I became licensed in 2014 and decided to embark on the journey of becoming a Curl Specialist in 2019 through the Curl Immersion Internship Program under Amy Bush at Ambushed Salon. There I achieved a high-level competency of The 4 Pillars of ArchiTEXTURE curl methodology which I still practice today.

Cancelations

I value your time and strive to provide the best service to all my clients. To help me serve you better, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

No Shows

Missed appointments without prior notice will result in a 50% charge of the service cost, applied to your next appointment.

Your Satisfaction

At Curly Crown Salon, client satisfaction is my top priority. I am dedicated to providing high-quality beauty services in a professional and welcoming environment. If you are not fully satisfied, you have up to two weeks to contact me and come in for any necessary adjustments.

Children

Children are welcome for their own appointments. However, my studio is a small space designed for relaxation and focused service. Due to safety concerns—such as sharp tools and chemicals—and limited room, I kindly ask that children not accompany you to your own appointment. If a child must accompany you, they must be able to sit quietly and independently for the duration of the visit. If this isn’t possible, you may be asked to reschedule. Thank you for your understanding.
